Mike Kiser, PE

President

Mike Kiser is the President and Owner of Encompass. With over 25 years of experience in the field of engineering, he provides the leadership and drive to push Encompass to take on many innovative designs and projects. Mr. Kiser not only leads a team of engineers, architects and designers, but is also a subject matter expert in the field of Power Engineering. He actively participates in the management of the firm as well as projects and power systems design. His diverse background allows him to guide the firm in new directions and exceed the expectations of clients.

Reid Ponx, PE

Facilities Engineering Manager

Reid Ponx is a registered Engineer with over 25 years experience. Reid heads up the facilities engineering group within Encompass and is responsible for the MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) aspects of facility projects. Reid also provides civil design support to the power design group for power substation projects and transmission line projects. He is a seasoned professional with a wide knowledge of the building code and construction specifications and standards.

Mike L. Arnold, RA, AIA

Architecture Department Manager

Mike Arnold is a registered architect with over 45 years of experience in architecture and engineering. He has worked on all types of projects in his rewarding career and Encompass is fortunate to have his long list of experience at our service. Mike is very knowledgeable in aspects of structural architecture and interfacing with engineering disciplines to make projects successful. He has a very in-depth knowledge of Federal, State and Local building codes and is an excellent listener to capture the programming stages of the architectural process.

Michael T. Arnold

Electrical Engineer

Michael T. Arnold is an electrical engineer and project manager with 10 years of experience. He is a dedicated fast learner, with a focus on the client in mind. Michael’s focus is in the area of power engineering and he presently manages substation design projects from start to finish. This includes station physical design, relay design, relay settings, SCADA systems and commissioning of systems.

Jeff Swaisgood

Power Distribution Engineer

Jeff Swaisgood has been with the company for 10 years. He has over 25 years of experience in the field of power distribution. Jeff brings substantial knowledge design transmission and distribution facilities and is now working on the substation design team as well. Jeff has designed hundreds of miles of line upgrades throughout his career in many types of terrains and environments. He also has experience with GIS mapping and residential subdivision designs with both overhead and underground solutions. Generation tie lines and collector systems are a growing trend that Jeff enjoys working on in the Green Energy market.
