Mike is a registered Professional Engineer with over twenty years of experience in electric system planning and system design. Mike is knowledgable in all aspects of electric system improvement and construction, including specifying major equipment, design management, coordination of construction contracts and project commissioning. He enjoys assisting clients with developing and implementing electric system improvements such as power substation construction, transmission line construction, distribution feeder improvements, power factor correction, new services and new transmission delivery points.

Michael L. Arnold, AIA
Mike has 35+ years’ experience in engineering and architecture, managing projects, consultants, personnel, and designing projects through all disciplines of facility design, maintenance and construction implementation. He thoroughly understands the client professional relationship, working hand-in-hand with the client stakeholders, and maintaining close communications throughout the project. He is knowledgeable in different project delivery methods and has extensive experience developing feasibility studies, functional and architectural programming, master planning, space studies and planning, schematic design and construction oversight.

Mike’s in-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local building codes is invaluable in planning client projects. As a 3 term Councilperson, he has insight to securing project zoning approvals, variances and building permits. His past project experience covers a wide variety of project types including petroleum, heavy and lite industrial, institutional, medical, commercial, restaurant, municipal, state and federal.

Architectural Department Manager

Reid Ponx, PE
Reid is a registered Professional Engineer with nearly twenty years experience in engineering, project design, and management. His responsibilities include oversight over the engineering department, project management, project quality control, and customer satisfaction.

Reid has worked on projects with a wide range of time schedules and budgets. As an experienced field engineer and construction administrator, he is skilled at securing building permits and plan approvals, managing the bidding process,
drafting contracts, addenda, change orders, construction field directives, monitoring contractor construction performance, and verification of adherence to rigid quality and safety standards. Reid's experiences as a project manager and field engineer allow him to effectively identify potential field issues prior to the completion of the final documents and to monitor the quality of construction documents produced.

Reid Ponx, PE
Facilities Engineering Manager

Frank Schrum, P.E.
Frank is a registered Professional Engineer with nearly thirty three years’ experience in industrial power, industrial and commercial facilities, and demand-side energy efficiency. His responsibilities include power system studies, arc flash analysis, facility electrical engineering support, and project management.

Frank has worked on many different types and sizes of projects, from office renovations, lighting efficiency improvements, and industrial power system upgrades to managing the engineering design and construction of a new 400,000 sq.ft. manufacturing facility. As an experienced project engineer and facilities engineering project manager, he is skilled at all aspects of engineering project management, monitoring and verification of adherence to design drawings, specifications, and safety standards. Frank's experiences as a project manager and electrical engineer allow him to provide valued solutions in all phases of a project, concept to implementation.

He can lead and manage projects with his vast knowledge of the construction industry and his ability to facilitate from start to finish.
